Polyurethane is recognised by professionals as the top notch finish for kitchens and joinery.
Polyurethane is a two part paint that is hard, durable and also a very colour stable paint surface. It comes in 2 finishes – satin or gloss. The satin finish is the most popular finish. Polyurethane is very popular for use on kitchen, laundry and vanity doors.
The choice of colours is virtually unlimited as you can choose from any of the major Australian paint brands such as Dulux, Taubmans, Wattyl etc to perfectly match your interiors. Our standard colour is White.
Polyurethane is an easy-to-clean surface and makes for a low maintenance kitchen, needing just a wipe over with a soft, damp cloth moistened in warm, soapy water. The paint is applied (sprayed) onto the face and all 4 edges of the doors.
It is a very similar formula to car paint, making it very durable despite constant contact. The advantages of polyurethane are:
Hardness and durability
Can be repaired
Endless colour possibilities
Gloss or satin flexibility
Looks amazing!
